We have tried with extreme care, in this commemorative booklet, to record for posterity the history and complete listing of all tombstones in the Providence Cemetery,  Providence Community, Burleson County, Texas.

As with any task of this size and undertaking, errors will occur and names will inadvertently be omitted.  We humbly apologize for any mistakes or omissions.  There is always one more significant name, point, or idea to add after the book has gone to the printer!

some dates are not recorded on the tombstones.  If you know any of these missing dates or have any information that would make this book more complete, please contact any member of the Providence Cemetery Committee or Providence Cemetery Association and provide them with the information.

Thank you for your interest in helping to preserve this history.  It has been a real privilege to participate in this important project --- itself another warm bond among all who share in this very special Community, fittingly  called  "Providence."
